Father Dan Madigan Retires

Congratulations to Father Dan Madigan on his well-deserved retirement after 50 years of service to residents of the Sacramento region. Under Father Dan’s guidance and leadership, he established the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services, an organization dedicated to serving the poor and moving them toward self-sufficiency and financial independence. He has made a positive difference in the lives of countless people and families, and made our community a better place than he found it when he arrived in 1966.

My colleagues on the Board of Supervisors and I were honored to present a resolution to Father Dan on August 26, 2014.
