I am grateful for the trust my colleagues have in me to again serve as Chairman of the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors. We have much to accomplish this year and I welcome the opportunity to lead several initiatives focused on everything from increasing accountability in county governance and service delivery, to protecting the most vulnerable among us, to expanding employment opportunities, to preparing for the ever-increasing threat of climate change. We clearly have lots to do and I plan to use the chairman’s post as effectively and proactively as possible.
