Supervisor Serna Sworn In to Second Term

On January 6, 2015, I was honored to have my three nephews – Andres, Ricky and Emilio – and my niece Clara administer the oath of office so I can begin a second term on the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors. Following the swearing-in ceremony, I was elected the 2015 Chairman of the Board. I am very humbled and grateful for the confidence placed in me by District 1 voters, my family, friends and supporters, band mates, and my colleagues. I look forward to another productive term, the first year of which promises to be especially busy. Watch swearing-in ceremony here.
